Just Like Aunty Lizi
In my family, the disciplinarian is my sister Lizi. She has straight long hair. Today, one day after my first marathon, I decided to go for a manicure (no pedicure as my baby toe nail is falling off )and a good hair wash. I had my hair blown just like Lizi's.
Then I went to fetch Ashley from school
Ashley : Mom...what happened to your hair?
Viki : Is it nice?
Ashley : I like your curly hair.
Viki : Oh...ok. Then I will keep my hair curly ok.
After a short pause...
Ashley : Mom, I don't like your straight hair cos you make me think of Aunty Lizi!!!

Paul Klee
Paul Klee (German pronunciation: [kleː]; 18 December 1879 – 29 June 1940) was a Swiss painter of German nationality.[a] His highly individual style was influenced by movements in art that included expressionism, cubism, and surrealism. He was, as well, a student of orientalism.[1] Klee was a natural draftsman who experimented with and eventually mastered color theory, and wrote extensively about it. His works reflect his dry humor and his sometimes child-like perspective, his personal moods and beliefs, and his musicality. He and his friend, the Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky, both taught at the German Bauhaus school of art and architecture.
In the last art class, the kids were asked to be COPY ARTISTS(and they had to mix the colour to try to follow the example given to them)...and these were the results..

Ashley's 4th Birthday
We celebrated Ashley's 4th Birthday party today at Get Crafty (the former Art Attack)
She invited 11 of her friends and family and the girls
did a princess drawer while the boys chose a Pokemon car
First step : To colour the back frame of the drawer
Second step: To colour the drawer itself
In the meantime, the boys who are outnumbered, painted the body of their car
Not forgetting Hannah, laughing and enjoying herself too..
All at work and the final step is to blow dry the paint...
Then it was meal time...while the children had McDonalds, the adults had starbucks coffee with some finger food
The children with their craft..
And finally, Happy 4th Birthday to my little princess...We love you.
